Fans of Babar Azam believe Sana Mir made a   subtle jab at the Pakistani captain:

The second One-Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and New Zealand was won by Pakistan by seven wickets thanks in large part to Fakhar Zaman, who continued his incredible run of form by smashing yet another century.

The left-handed opener recorded his third straight ODI hundred and eleventh overall with a magnificent unbroken 180 from 144 balls.

Former Pakistan women's cricket team captain Sana Mir lauded Fakhar's effort and emphasised his significance to the squad during the post-match analysis. Some Babar Azam supporters, however, took her remarks as a subtle jab at the current Pakistan captain.

This is on the grounds that Babar has confronted analysis in the past for his strike-rate, for certain fans and previous cricketers proposing that he doesn't score runs rapidly enough. Sana Mir's remarks, which stressed Fakhar's capacity to score runs at a decent strike-rate while pursuing a high objective, were considered by some to be a differentiation to Babar's methodology.

"We were talking behind closed doors too that his [Fakhar] runs are generally for the group. In the event that he scores a long time, he does it at a strike-pace of 125, which is significant when you are pursuing an objective near 350, and not at a strike-pace of 100. That is the justification for why he is pivotal for this group, since where we as of now have players who play at run-a-ball, his job becomes vital to pursue 300 run in addition to targets," Sana Mir said.

Even though Sana Mir didn't mention Babar's name during the entire chat, Babar is still making fun of her, which clearly indicates that the Skipper is being disregarded.

But truth is that Sana Mir not over point Babar he said; that she was only complimenting Fakhar's performance and that her remarks were not meant to be directed at Babar.
